Your primary role and responsibilities:

  • Become part of the EMTensor team.
  • Maintain and further develop our (parallel) in-house software.
  • Work closely with our computational team.

Qualifications and experience:

  • IT degree with a specialization in Scientific Computing / Software Development.
  • Experience in C++ and distributed-memory parallelization with MPI.
  • Unix shell & python scripting.
  • Excellent English level, both writing and speaking.
  • High team spirit
  • Working permit for Austria / EU

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in CUDA implementation.
  • Experience in software certification.
  • Administration of IT-structure and -architecture.

The Company is located at Tech Gate Vienna. The compensation is commensurate with experience. The minimum salary is €46.000,- gross per year (40h/week).

Role and responsibilities:

  • Development of algorithms for image reconstruction, including electromagnetic wave propagation and inverse problems.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Ph.D. in Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science.
  • Experience in C++ and distributed-memory parallelization with MPI.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods for solving electromagnetic problems (FDTD, FEM, …).
  • Excellent English level, both writing and speaking.
  • Working permit for Austria / EU.

Salary

€60,000 – €70,000 basic + variable component (can provide flexibility for the right individual)

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and managing clinical trials within European hospitals, US also if necessary
  • Working closely with Key Opinion Leaders in protocol development
  • Study submission to Ethics Committees and Notified Bodies
  • Study execution
  • Managing the submission of the application for CE mark
  • Working with key internal and external stakeholders for strategic research and study planning
  • Providing adequate training to stakeholders (where necessary), data collection, and monitoring study compliance
  • Play a pivotal role in the development of future clinical studies for products currently in development.

The Ideal Candidate will have…

  • An understanding of Neurosurgery/ Neuroradiology (not prerequisite)
  • Experience overseeing clinical studies within the Medical Imaging field, MRI, CT Ultrasound etc. (not prerequisite). Neuro Imaging would be ideal.
  • A MD degree (prerequisite) – doesn’t have to be within Neurology
  • Experience in writing protocols and overseeing clinical trials in preparation for CE mark approval – ideally someone who has lead a product through development to attaining CE mark.
  • The ability to converse in English, both speaking and writing
  • The required permits to work in Vienna, Austria.
