Test Engineer — Electromagnetic Tomography

emtensor is seeking a proactive and multidisciplinary Test Engineer to join our Vienna-based laboratory. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily experimental operations, ensuring our brain imaging systems meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

You will not just “run tests” — you will design them, analyze the data, and provide critical feedback that shapes the future of our medical technology. You will work directly with our electromagnetic brain imaging prototype, executing calibration procedures, phantom-based validation studies, and RF characterization workflows that feed directly into our regulatory documentation package (EU MDR).

Mixed-Signal Hardware Engineer

EMTensor is seeking a hands-on Mixed-Signal Hardware Engineer to join our Bengaluru engineering team. In this role, you will own the circuit design of our mixed-signal boards, including the analogue front end, an RF chain around 1 GHz, and the digitization stage that follows it.

You will work closely with our PCB and FPGA engineers to rebuild and improve existing hardware, resolve component obsolescence, support manufacturing, and bring boards through build, measurement and validation. This is a board-level analogue and RF design role for an engineer comfortable working directly with real hardware.

Lead PCB Design Engineer

EMTensor is seeking an experienced Lead PCB Design Engineer to join our Bengaluru engineering team. In this role, you will own the PCB layout of our mixed-signal instrument hardware, including an eight-layer board carrying an analogue front end, an RF chain around 1 GHz, and a data-conversion stage.

You will take boards from placement and stack-up through RF and high-speed routing, fabrication release and first build. Working directly with schematic, FPGA and system engineers, you will be responsible for producing manufacturable, high-performance layouts and working closely with fabricators and assemblers.

FPGA Engineer — Module Firmware & Signal Processing

EMTensor is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to develop the firmware for the digital modules at the heart of our imaging system. You will build a clean-room FPGA implementation from a written protocol specification and validate it against a working reference system.

You will own the design end to end — from parallel ADC capture through fixed-point DSP, bus communication, control and boot logic to verification on real hardware. This is a hands-on RTL development role where you will write the design, build the testbench and prove that the resulting hardware performs correctly on the bench.

Electronics Engineer — RF and Analog Design

EMTensor is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to own RF and analog hardware for our electromagnetic tomography brain-imaging systems. In this role, you will design board-level RF and analog electronics from concept and simulation through schematic design, layout supervision, bring-up, measurement and documentation.

You will work on phase-coherent multi-channel RF systems, including front ends, ADCs and DACs, clocking and LO distribution, integrated RF transceivers and high-speed interfaces. This is a hands-on role requiring strong RF design, laboratory measurement and board-level product development experience.
