About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Firmware Engineer with a strong background in RF systems and FPGA integration.

You will design, implement, and optimize low-level firmware that controls complex multi-channel RF hardware and interacts with high-performance FPGA logic.

 

Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for RF control and synchronization.

Collaborate with FPGA and hardware teams on timing, data exchange, and system calibration.

Work closely with RF engineers to support transceiver tuning, gain control, and signal calibration.

Develop and maintain communication drivers (SPI, I²C, UART, Ethernet, LVDS, etc.).

Automate system tests and validation using Python, MATLAB, or C++.

Participate in design reviews and contribute to architecture decisions for next-generation imaging systems.

 

Requirements

8–15 years of experience in embedded firmware development (C/C++).

Strong understanding of RF signal chains, transceivers, and calibration concepts.

Experience working with FPGA or RTL-level integration (Verilog/VHDL knowledge is a plus).

Solid understanding of digital electronics, timing, and real-time system constraints.

Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).

Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary R&D teams.

 

Nice to Have

Experience in medical, imaging, or high-frequency instrumentation.

Background with Xilinx / Intel FPGA toolchains or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
